American real estate developer (1883-1963)

Joseph J. Greenberg (September 28, 1883 – June 16, 1963) was an American real estate developer for the City of Philadelphia. He served in World War I in the Philadelphia area and was a part of Philadelphia’s Board of Education and Board of Realtors. He went to the City College of Baltimore. Greenberg helped to build Joseph Greenberg School.[1] The school is a K-8 National Blue Ribbon awarded school in Upper Northeast Philadelphia, PA.[2] The school was first built in 1956 by Greenberg.[3]

Greenberg was born in Baltimore on September 28, 1883 and died on June 16, 1963.[4][1]
