Charlton has a career high ATP singles ranking of No. 793 achieved on 8 September 2025. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of No. 183 achieved on 9 June 2025.[1]

Charlton has won one ATP Challenger doubles title at the 2025 Queensland International II, partnering Patrick Harper to defeat Matt Hulme and James Watt in the final.[2]

Charlton played college tennis at Oregon.[3]
