Kingsley Kojo Antwi (born 23 July), also known by the artistic name Nana Antwi Bosiako, is a Ghanaian author, poet, filmmaker, and fine art photographer.[1][2] He is the co-founder and vice president of the Ghana Writers Awards.[3] In 2013, he won the Inspirational Poet Award at an international literary event in the Philippines.[4] In 2022, his fine art photography was exhibited at Imposters Art Gallery in Accra.[5]

Early life and education

Antwi was born in Kumasi, Ghana. He attended Datus Junior High School at Bubiashie from 2003 to 2006.[6]

Antwi published his debut poetry collection, Bosiako: The Bloodbath, in 2020. The work was reviewed in national media including Graphic Online, which described it as “a new contribution to Ghanaian poetry,”[1] and the Business & Financial Times, which highlighted its use of cultural and philosophical themes.[2] ModernGhana also covered the collection, calling it “a literary bloodbath.”[7]

In 2013, Antwi received the Inspirational Poet Award at the International Poetry Festival in the Philippines.[4][8]

Antwi is co-founder and vice president of the Ghana Writers Awards, a literary initiative established to promote Ghanaian and African writing. The awards have been covered by national media including ModernGhana and Graphic Online.[3][9]

Film and photography

In 2022, Antwi exhibited his photography collection She Made Me Do It at the Imposters Art Gallery in Accra.[5] His work has been described as exploring themes of identity and human experience.
