Eleven military personnel, including a lieutenant colonel and a major, were martyred during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Orakzai district, the military’s media affairs said on Wednesday.
A statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, “On night 7/8 October 2025, security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Orakzai District, on [the] reported presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij.”
11 military personnel were martyred during the operation, ISPR said.
“During the conduct of [the] operation, nineteen Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by own troops,” it added.
