Mark Reinschmidt (born 1960), is an American politician who is serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives from the 75th district.
Early life and education

Growing up on a ranch[1] near Whitehall, Montana in Jefferson County,[2] he attended Whitehall High School. He graduated from Montana State University, in Bozeman.[1]
Reinschmidt has lived in Jefferson County for thirty years.[3] He worked as a artist, specializing in metal sculptures and runs two businesses.[3] Prior to his political career, he was also a trustee on the Whitehall School Board.[2]
In June 2025, 75th district Republican incumbent Marta Bertoglio resigned to be named Montana Commerce Director.[4] On July 16, he was interviewed by the Jefferson County Commission as one of the three candidates on the Republican shortlist.[3] On July 22, it selected Reinschmidt to serve as its new Montana House of Representatives legislator, defeating more experienced politicians Terry Churchill, Kirk Wagoner.[2][3] Currently serving as a replacement for an outgoing politician, Reinschmidt has stated that he plans to run for the Montana Legislature in 2026.[2]
