A large number of pairs appeared at the nationwide auditions, of which 25 pairs were selected by the judges.

The 25 pairs advanced to the overnight bootcamp titled as Agnipareeksha , which is being held for the first time in MasterChef history. The pairs would have to participate 2 challenges to get a spot in Top 12.
