Mujibillo Tursunov (Uzbek: Mujibillo Tursunov; born 6 November 1999 in Andijan, Uzbekistan) is an Uzbekistani amateur boxer. He won a gold medal at the 2024 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships held in Chiang Mai, Thailand[1], and a silver medal at the 2021 World Military Boxing Championship[2]. Tursunov competes primarily in the featherweight and lightweight divisions.
Tursunov began competing internationally in 2021. He participated in the 2021 World Military Boxing Championship, where he advanced to the final and won a silver medal in his division[3][4].
In 2023, he took part in the 2023 IBA Men’s World Boxing Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Competing in the 57–60 kg category, Tursunov defeated Varinder Singh of India and Merri Kor of Gambia, the latter by technical knockout. He later won a bout against Muhammad Hamud of Morocco by unanimous decision to reach the quarterfinals[5].
At the 2024 Asian Amateur Boxing Championships held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Tursunov competed in the featherweight category. He won the gold medal after defeating Kazakhstan’s Dulat Bekbauov in the final. Uzbekistan finished the tournament with eight gold medals overall[6].
