Natural High (Chinese: 现在就出发) is a Chinese outdoor reality show started in 2023. The shows regular members are Shen Teng, Bai Jingting, Gina Jin and Jia Bing.^[1][2] The show showcases natural landscapes through outdoor adventures, highlighting local culture to promote tourism.^[3] Celebrities travel the country, completing tasks, enjoying games and experiencing a simple lifestyle.^[4] Each episode comprises two segments. The success of the show led to its sequel.^[5]

It exceeded 27000 popularity index points for three straight years, set records in Tencent Video variety show history, and topped the ‘Most Popular Chinese Variety Shows’ list. ^[6][7]

The show introduced bold innovations in game design, combining new concepts with unique formats. Light, brain-teasing activities encouraged intense participation, created spontaneous, hilarious moments, and tested reflexes and quick thinking.

Each episode features participants exploring natural landscapes and local tourism spots through games and competitions. Partnering with cultural and tourism bureaus, the show highlights niche attractions, local customs, and food, offering viewers a practical travel guide while promoting local economies and cultural tourism.^[8]

• Season 2: It broke the S-level variety show popularity index with 25000 points in 35 minutes, setting a record and topping the charts for five consecutive weeks.^[16]
• Season 3: On its premiere, it achieved the fastest 26000 popularity index and had received almost 4 million pre-release reservations, thereby setting two records in Tencent variety show history.^[17][18]

The show is jointly produced by Chengdu Film and Television City based Tianfu Kuanzhai Culture Communication Co. Ltd., Tencent Video, and Yisheng Xiangyang.^[19]

In Season 3, the show received an upgrade and featured international filming in Italy, and introduced a new “zero-frame group” format that minimized scripting and emphasized spontaneous guest interaction.^[20] In July 2025, the shooting with the familiar cast took place in Linzhi, Tibet.^[21][22]
