The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday imposed a ban on the use of government resources, such as vehicles, by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for personal or political use.
The provincial administration was banned from using government vehicles to carry out long marches, while the use of rescue machinery and fire brigade vehicles at political rallies was deemed “dishonest”.
“[The] use of government resources for political purposes is tantamount to undermining public trust,” the PHC ruled.
