Indian actress

Prastuti Porasor is an Indian actress who works in Assamese cinema and stage dramas.[1] She has Versatile performers in the industry memorable roles.She has acted in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including Tumi Mor Matho Mor(2000), Suren Suror Putek(2005), Raamdhenu(2011), Doordarshan Eti Jantra (2016).

Early life and education

Prastuti Porasor was born at Malow Ali in Jorhat, Assam. Her father Bijoy Chandra Sarma was the former principal of Jagannath Barooah College.

She started acting career aged around 5 years through a serial named Barnali in Doordarshan Guwahati. Her debut Assamese film was Bani Das’s Maharathi, which was released in 1999. She is also associated with many mobile theatres of Assam. She is a crowd puller for her critically acclaimed performances in those mobile theatres.[1]
