2017 Bangladeshi film
Premi O Premi is a 2017 Bangladeshi Bengali-language romantic comedy film directed by Jakir Hossain Raju. The film is inspired from Hollywood movie Leap Year.[1] It is the biggest worldwide release for a Bangladeshi movie[2]. The film stars Arifin Shuvoo and Nusraat Faria in the lead roles. It is the second collaboration between Arifin Shuvoo and Jakir Hossain Raju after Niyoti (2016). It is also the first collaboration between Arifin Shuvoo and Nusraat Faria.
Plot
Maria works in a company in London. She wants to propose her boyfriend. So she travels London to Kolkata. But for some problem her flight landed on Chittagong. Then she meet Shimanto. They have a contract for reach Maria to Kolkata. After a long thrilling journey, they reached Kolkata. Shimanto’s heart break after Arian took Maria. But she realised that Arian is cheating with her. So she came back to Bangladesh. She propose Shimanto but Shimanto ignored that. So Maria ran for suicide but Shimanto saves her and propose her.[3]

The title song released on 10 November[6]. The singer of the song is Akassh. “Chok Chok Korlei” released on 17 November. The singer duo for the song is Akassh and Antara Mitra. 24 November 3rd song “Anek Kotha Chilo” released. The singer of the song is Zubeen Garg. On 1st December “Sajna” released. The singer of the song is Imran Mahmudul.
All music is composed by Akassh.
Production and release
This film shot in London, Chittagong and Kolkata. Faria and director Raju became sick during the shooting. So the shooting is packed up for few days. It released at 10 February 2017 in 87 theatres.[7][8] To increase the audience appeal of the film, Jaaz Multimedia create some promotional clips and organize a quiz. IMDb give this movie a 6.4/10 rating. The Daily Star give this movie a 7/10 rating.
