Rail Transport in Armenia is operated by the South Caucasus Railway, which is a subsidiary of Russian Railways
Railroads in Armenia were previously operated by the Armenian Railways, but in 2008, Armenia signed a 30-year operating agreement with Russian Railways.[1]

The Yerevan Metro network is operated independently.
