Salatın is a village in the Shusha District of Azerbaijan. The village was the site of the killing of journalist on the 9th of January 1991, [1] whom Salatyn Asgarova, who was covering the First Nagorno-Karabakh War; the city was renamed as well as a street in Baku and a village in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan were renamed to honor her.[2]
