Sean Kaufman (born June 22, 2000) is an American actor. He is best known for his breakout role as Steven Conklin in the Amazon Prime Video teen romance series The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025).[1]
Biography
Kaufman was born and raised in New York City.[2] He is of Japanese descent, and has a younger sister.[2][3] He studied drama at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, graduating in 2018.[4] He later studied at Purchase College‘s Acting Conservatory, but dropped out during his junior year to film the first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty.[2][5] After production wrapped that year, he resumed his studies and graduated with a BFA in Acting in 2022.[6][7]
