Skibidi Rizz (foaled March 27, 2022)[1] is an American Thoroughbred racehorse. Skibidi Rizz began racing in March of 2025 and has started in ten races. He became notable online during his racing career in the summer of 2025 after new fans of the mobile game Umamusume: Pretty Derby began requesting his presence in the game, particularly because of his unusual name consisting of youth slang.[2]
Skibidi Rizz is a chestnut gelding.[3][4] His sire is notable Kentucky Derby champion Nyquist, via the mare Sinwaan. It is unclear why Skibidi Rizz received his particular name, a seeming reference to online youth slang terms — Skibidi in that sense refers to the online machinima series Skibidi Toilet, while Rizz is a term that denotes charisma.[5]
Racing career and notoriety

Skibidi Rizz’s first race was an ungraded flat race on March 15th, 2025. Since then, he has competed ten times, including his first and so far only win at a maiden claiming race at Horseshoe Indianapolis on July 15th.[3] He also placed third in an earlier race in Oaklawn Park. His first win coincided roughly with the global English language release of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, a mobile gacha game about training anthropomorphized Japanese race horses.[6][7] Subsequently, new fans of the game in the West began noticing Skibidi Rizz and started demanding his unlikely inclusion in the game, additionally creating fan art depicting his potential appearance as an in-game character. Clips of Skibidi Rizz’s first win were uploaded online and circulated widely amongst fans. So far, Umamusume has only included horses that have raced in Japan.[8]
At this point his career, Skibidi Rizz has earned over $20,000 while racing.[1]
