Sohani Kumari is an Indian actress and film producer. She hails from a small village in Barmer district, Rajasthan, and has worked in television, film and production. She has also served as an executive producer for a major studio.[1][2]
Early life and background

Kumari was born in Gudamalani a village in the Barmer district of Rajasthan.[3] She moved from her village to pursue her dreams in the entertainment industry.[4]
Kumari began her career in entertainment in and around 2020. Initially she appeared in television roles. Over time, she expanded her scope from acting to producing. [1]
In December 2024, she joined Zee Studios as an executive producer. As per media, her first project under the banner is a romantic-comedy web series titled Pyaar Testing, which has completed shooting in Jaipur.[5][2]
Previously she had produced several independent projects. According to her statements, these include short-form content and smaller productions that helped her gain experience before joining a major studio.
She is also credited with the film Aakhir Palaayan Kab Tak (2024). The film’s release was seen as a significant milestone, considering her background and journey from a rural village. [4]
In September 2025, it was reported that Kumari’s fiancé, a doctor named Sawai Singh, died by suicide at their flat in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Authorities registered a case and initiated investigation. [6][7]
