** For me, this isn’t clear from the only source I’m aware of (Cosas, 2015). One could interpret it as her collaborating with Titi Guiulfo to design costumes for the ”Selkie Series”, for ”Madre”, or another presentation, and having them produced with Peruvian textiles by Peruvian workers. However, perhaps the collaboration with Guiulfo had a different objective, and it simply inspired Daniela to use Peruvian textiles in her performances. How about this: {{green|In 2015, she collaborated with fashion designer Titi Guiulfo}}{{red|, which inspired her to use Peruvian textiles in future projects.}} |

* Isn’t garment production similar to production of costumes? If so, was it really a change of career path? |

- Is it known when she started playing the piano and took the ballet lessons?
- Probably nothing was published about the beginning.
- Do you think Pilar Secada deserves a red link?
- Maybe yes, but the link would be more important in es.Wikipedia.org
- Is it known where his father was for her to only live with her grandmother and mother?
- I haven’t found any sources for that and could only speculate.
- Did some copyediting; you can revert if you feel so.
2010–2015: Design studies
[edit]
- Did some copyediting; you can revert if you feel so.
- Is it known what she collaborated on with Titi Guiulfo?
- For me, this isn’t clear from the only source I’m aware of (Cosas, 2015). One could interpret it as her collaborating with Titi Guiulfo to design costumes for the Selkie Series, for Madre, or another presentation, and having them produced with Peruvian textiles by Peruvian workers. However, perhaps the collaboration with Guiulfo had a different objective, and it simply inspired Daniela to use Peruvian textiles in her performances. How about this: In 2015, she collaborated with fashion designer Titi Guiulfo, which inspired her to use Peruvian textiles in future projects.
- Isn’t garment production similar to production of costumes? If so, was it really a change of career path?
Done I can’t deny this, and therefore I’ve removed the words about her career path.
2014–2018: Interest in Music
[edit]
- I find the chronology a tad confusing. She moved to Manhattan, New York after her apparel design studies and worked in the industry. Was she studying music technology at the same time or was it only after her work experience?
- In fact, this happened after her internships, which is more evident from her LinkedIn account, and I have corrected the start of her music technology studies to the year 2015. This was presumably followed by a period of career exploration, as she simultaneously created art performances and began modeling.
- I think it is WP:UNDUE to give this much emphasis to Morton Subotnick.
Done I’ve trimmed the passage. Now it contains only one sentence, which I consider justified from a biographical perspective for the following reasons: 1) Lalita specifically wanted to study with Subotnick, 2) he was her mentor as a professor at NYU, 3) Lalita composes electronic music and Subotnick was a pioneer of this genre, 4) Lalita’s instrument is a synthesizer, to whose development Subotnick directly contributed, 6) he himself created one of the early electronic albums using the Buchla, 7) Lalita cites him as an influence.
2015–2018: Experiences with film and performance art
[edit]
- Artribune (2018), OK.
- El Comércio (2017), OK; just specify that she was chorist instead of a singer.
Done
- Acero (2022), OK; this source could be useful for my query above on why her father wasn’t present in her (early) life.
- RISD Yearbooks, OK.
- Número (2023), OK.
