Either way, I would suggest discussing this with Mayouhm, whom I believe added much of this content recently and/or revised much of it. Feel free to use this talk section to do so by responding below. Thanks, R Prazeres (talk) 17:11, 31 January 2026 (UTC) |

:I don’t think there’s much to discuss unless there’s either a reliable source that contradicts the claims by Cornell (and Hart) or directly dismisses it Mayouhm (talk) 17:14, 31 January 2026 (UTC) |

Like several other articles about Moroccan regions (e.g. Chaouia (Morocco)), this article is being semi-regularly disrupted by IPs and other editors changing sourced information about ethnic terms and identities. A reminder that Wikipedia is not a forum for discussing personal views or for your own personal beliefs or experiences; all information must be attributed to independent, published, reliable sources. If there’s a problem with the article’s content, please explain it here on the talk page. Do not change or remove information without citing additional reliable sources, and in cases where reliable sources contradict each other, then this should again be discussed on the talk page so that a solution may be determined by consensus. @Tanitsbride: So far, what you’ve said on my talk page ([1]) and in your edit summary ([2]) can only be taken as your personal assessment, which is not how Wikipedia determines content: see Wikipedia:No original research. Moreover, as I said before, the text is well-cited and tells readers who made these estimates, so unless you have other reliable sources stating that these estimates are unreliable, you haven’t provided a convincing reason for deleting content. (And if there are other reliable sources contradicting these, it usually makes more sense to simply add what those sources say to the article and let readers decide what they think of it all, per Wikipedia’s neutral point of view.)
Either way, I would suggest discussing this with Mayouhm, whom I believe added much of this content recently and/or revised much of it. Feel free to use this talk section to do so by responding below. Thanks, R Prazeres (talk) 17:11, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
