Disclaimer: the nominator and I have collaborated on numerous articles at FAC level and elsewhere, but I am confident I can review this article disinterestedly.
- Quibbles
- “Lloyd moved the coffee house to a larger premises” – do we want the indefinite article?
- “In Britain, Lloyd church warden” – missing “was a” or some such? And see below.
- “auctions also took place was the pulpit” – not English.
- “With a year of moving to the new premises” – within a year?”
- “Lloyd was a church warden” – “churchwarden” is one word according to the OED.
- “his wife Abigail died – as he had only one wife at a time Abigail probably needs a comma on either side of her name, I think, but I don’t press the point.
- “although has only been available online since 2013” – missing a word.
That’s my lot. Over to you. Tim riley talk 20:33, 16 November 2025 (UTC)
