:: I’ve added the Slipped Disc article as a reference. It’s a decent source and Powell’s passing has also been confirmed by several people in the “Sorabji world”, so I see no reason to dismiss the news. Revision as of 08:24, 14 January 2026
“including the substantial 1930 fourth of the composer’s piano sonatas”

- I presume it means: “including the substantial fourth piano sonata, written in 1930.” Jobrahms 17:23, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

- Yep. I know something about Sorabji’s music and will try to help there. Eep. 1930 fourth sounds like a kind of chord, doesn’t it! Schissel | Sound the Note! 18:10, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
According to Facebook, born 12 November 1969, died 27 December 2025. Realize that is not the most reliable of sources, but it may aid in finding a better one. ELSchissel (talk) 13:24, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- The only other source I could find for his death is Slipped Disc (argh…) [1]. For now I’ve slapped {{cn}} on the death date until we get better sources. Wilh3lmTalk 15:15, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
