The source provided is from an unofficial article. He is her employer. While it is somewhat implied in the show, it is never outright stated, and there are also other things in the show that are implied but never outright confirmed such as Andi and Frankie being in a romantic relationship. Frankie refers to Sparky by his name, thus he is most probably just her employer and nothing beyond that. Shavitr (talk) 19:18, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The synopsis included in the cited Animation Magazine article (including the detail of Sparky being Frankie’s father) was most likely provided to Animation Magazine by Glitch Productions as a press release, in which case it would be a reliable source. I have, for sake of clarification, reached out to the article’s author via email. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 19:48, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, it seemed like it was a press release (Animation Magazine does a LOT of those), so I’d say it has validity, personally, but I don’t see the harm with reaching out to the article author. Also, there’s been no confirmation that Andi and Frankie are in a romantic relationship, so adding that to the page would be promoting misinformation at this point.–Historyday01 (talk) 20:59, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So, it’s been a few days, and I have still not yet received any response from the author of the article. In that time, I’ve come to reevaluate my position on what the best course of action here is. I realized that, the assumption that the synopsis in the Animation Magazine article is derived from a press release, even if argued to be potentially likely, is still just that: an assumption. And making judgements on the reliability of information in a source based on assumptions about where that information may be coming from is, in hindsight, not very encyclopedic. Given this, I think that temporarily withholding the description of Sparky as Frankie’s father from the article until it can be confirmed/corroborated is probably the better option, as opposed to keeping the description in while it still may prove to be incorrect. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 03:28, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps we could just ask Sparky’s VA or Terrace herself about the information. I’m sure either one would be happy to talk about the series. Historyday01 (talk) 11:32, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are making a lot of assumptions here. That isn’t what is done on Wikipedia. There’s no confirmation that Andi and Frankie are in a romantic relationship. As far as we know, and has been shown, they are only friends. Sparky being Frankie’s father is confirmed by the Animation Magazine story. Jaime Eliat has followed up on that. Historyday01 (talk) 21:09, 21 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose i was being unclear, i was refering to “Andi and Frankie being in a romantic relationship” as another thing that is somewhat implied but never outright confirmed by official sources like Sparky being Frankie’s father. I believe neither of these things to be true. Shavitr (talk) 08:11, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As I said above, a social media message to Sparky’s VA or Terrace about Sparky being Frankie’s father could clarify issues. Historyday01 (talk) 11:33, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I know it’s a bit of an obvious question that can be easily answered, but should we number the pilot as episode 1, episode 0, or leave it unnumbered? It is the only episode that the series has so far, after all. JT0219 (talk) 08:17, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

In regards to numbering, Glitch Productions pilots have so far consistently doubled as the first episode of their series, and sources like Gizmodo do already describe KoG’s pilot as a “first episode”. So, unless anything ends up going differently, it’d seem best to maintain the numbering as is. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 12:00, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
