I’m not sure of the appropriateness of the history section in the introduction. That seems to be a responsibility for its own page (and actually is its own page, Skyscraper). As this page is a list, as shown by its title, I think the history section should be excised; or, more accurately, deleted. DrDMango (talk) 01:47, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I think it’s fine to have an overview for the history of the introduction (or moving it to a history section) for those who care about the history of this ranking. Until the late 20th century most of skyscraper history was also the history of American skylines, so there’s bound to be some overlap. But it is talking specifically about the ranking of American cities instead of the rest of the world. LivinAWestLife (talk) 10:36, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
