Revision as of 20:44, 2 November 2025

Referring to this revert of all of my changes, including removal of state links and flags is most regrettable. The content and the table already make it clear that the various destinations are US states (italicised) or countries (non italicised), the cities and towns visited (in the next column) are already abundantly linked with the exception of well-known cities, Furthermore, our manual of style states “Subnational flags (regions, cities, etc.) should generally be used only when directly relevant to the article. Such flags are rarely recognizable by the general public, detracting from any shorthand utility they might have, and are rarely closely related to the subject of the article.” So in summary, I’d say that the use of flags are gratuitous except to add a splash of colour. I’m glad to see someone else agrees with me .  Ohc revolution of our times 10:57, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
