While there is sometimes a place for the passive voice, this is not one of those times. Reliable sources report that it was indeed the driver who rammed a car into pedestrians and then began stabbing them. Sentences like “pedestrians had been driven into” sound bad, provide less information than what is given in sources, and should be rewritten. This article may be vandalized in the future with pro-palestinian language and anti-jewish sentiment being added will be a possible thing, we should try to prevent this, it may be either a neo-nazi hate crime or a anti-jewish hate crime shane (talk to me if you want!) 12:06, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- According to Wikipedia:Rough guide to semi-protection#Criteria for semi-protection, it doesn’t appear that pages are pre-emptively protected. However I agree lets keep an eye on this page in the coming days out of respect for the victims. Furbybrain (talk) 12:22, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- It’s also possible that islamophobic sentiments, given the current geopolitical context, could creep in. Good to be on the look out for both That said, there doesn’t seem to be any vandalism one way or the other yet, and as Furbybrain said, pre-emptive semi-protection doesn’t tend to happen. It’s better to just keep an eye out and if it does become a problem, then to apply appropriate protection. 2A02:C7C:C4CD:A500:9D9:3EE1:57A4:CB6D (talk) 12:25, 2 October 2025 (UTC)

I think we just need to use the exact name of the place in the article title which should be Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation attack. 152.132.14.7 (talk) 16:56, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
