== Egypt’s name change ==
Hello
Several reliable sources say that Egypt renamed itself the Arab Republic of Egypt in 1971… NOT 1973 like mentioned in the article. [https://www.britannica.com/event/Syrian-Civil-War]

the image shown on this page associated to pan Arabic flag is wrong. The flag is of Palestine, and not pan Arabic. Pan arabic flag is black, green and white (from the top) with a red triangle on the left hand side Donnaherb (talk) 23:27, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I’m requesting that the image on the “decline” section of the article, which has an image of nation-states that are in the Arab world be removed and replaced with the wikicommons file of the funeral of Nasser([1]).
I believe this would be far more relevant to the article than what is currently there. As a side note. I tried finding any files relating to the death of Gaddafi but couldn’t. Anyone know if there is any since I believe his own article this one and the article about his death would be better with something to directly show even if it’s just crowds of people where he died. - I mentioned that there was no images that are related to Gaddafi’s death, but I did find these images in wikicommons i think any of these images could be used to show opposition to Gaddafi in-liue of his death. I think this would be good as a second image next to Nasser’s funeral.

- I think the 4th and 11th images are the best to use. The 4th shows the popular discontent from people who left pan Arab aligned nations expressing in countries where they can their distain to the governments while the 11th image also shows discontent but where the person had to put it up anonymously due to fear of state reprisal. - Hello, @Skitash! You are a frequent contributer to this page as far as I am aware. I would greatly appreciate it if you could replace the current image in the decline section for 4th image or another one here that I’ve linked to. It doesn’t seem like people with extended access check out the talk page for this article commonly and it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve posted my request so I’m hoping that reaching out to you will finally resolve this. - Hello. I’ve used the image of Gamal Abdel Nasser’s funeral since it’s the most symbolic of pan-Arabism’s gradual decline. Skitash (talk) 17:10, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- This is a very late response but thank you for getting to this very quickly from when I pinged you. AssanEcho (talk) 18:00, 22 January 2025 (UTC)
