In Wikipedia we routinely translate non-English titles [[Lõõtsavägilased]], [[Kipparikvartetti]], [[Rozmowy ze Stanisławem Lemem]] [[Wydawnictwo Literackie]], to name a very few. Yes in many cases we do not. But in this case it is not aimply a translation, it is an ”’explanation”: you will not find the word ‘Šlapeto’ in dictionaries. However I found a reference. Of course it is “nonstandard”, becauuse, as I said, there is no such word. I fail to undersdtand the argument “reference is not searchable”. I provided the link to the page which clearly writes what I wrote. I wrote. The author in the reference though the word deserves explanation, so do I. |
