The film was featured on the cover of Empire magazine; the marketing article could address this. The first official images from the film were also released.

Hi, thanks for sharing about this! Unfortunately, reading MOS:FILMMARKETING, I don’t think this warrants inclusion. With Empire being a primary source, we can’t highlight its noteworthiness using itself. Secondary sources have to report on the novelty of The Odyssey getting exclusive coverage in Empire, which I don’t think is likely. We also tend not to include non-free images unless there is critical commentary about it, and I think that’s best done with post-release analyses, not pre-release observations. This is standard for most major film productions. The article already includes the first-look image of Damon in costume, as well as the poster, so I think we are good on non-free images and should avoid them being excessive. Yup. A verified report of her role is required. The recent racist online backlash and Musk’s unfounded assertions hold no bearing on this. Some people thought Holland was playing Odysseus or that Pattinson was Poseidon, so we cannot reasonably rush into assumptions without reliable confirmation first. Protection is a preventative measure, but we surely cannot prevent every confirmed editor from editing preemptively. I would argue that the protection has been staving off much more severe vandalism. I would prefer extended-confirmed protection, though there has not been enough persistent vandalism to warrant it at this time.
