Tangia Zaman Methila (Bengali:টাঙ্গিয়া জামান মেথিলা ; born 31 January 1992)[1] is a Bangladeshi model, Bollywood film actress, and beauty pageant titleholder[2] who was crowned as Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020. She was scheduled to attend Miss Universe 2020 but failed to compete due to travel restrictions and additional restrictions imposed on Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic. After five years, she was re-crowned as Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025 and represented Bangladesh at Miss Universe 2025 top 30 and Methila Rank Top 13. She is the lead actress in Bollywood film Rohingya.[3][4]

Methila was crowned Miss Supranational Bangladesh 2019. She had the right to represent Bangladesh in Miss Supranational 2019, but she decided to withdraw from the competition.[7]
Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 and Miss Universe 2020

On April 5, 2020, Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 was held in the Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden and sponsored by Flora Bank.[8] At the end of the event, Methila was chosen as the winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020,[9][10][11] and to represent Bangladesh at Miss Universe 2020 held on May 16, 2021. However, Methila announced that she could not compete due to travel restrictions and additional lockdown imposed on Bangladesh during the COVID-19 pandemic.[12]
Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025 and Miss Universe 2025

Tangia Zaman Methila was re-crowned as Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025. She was chosen, and represented Bangladesh at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Thailand.
