Netballers often marry mid-career, and as a rule they do tend to change their playing name. How ccan we present this so that the date of name change is given and easily referenced. (Of course a player might marry in November and not play under their new name until the new season the following year. Template:Infobox person has an RfC for possible consensus regarding the removal of color from person infoboxes. A discussion is taking place. I am going to remove |maidenname=. Literally NO other People and person infobox templates template uses this parameter. This is not Infobox worthy. If it is, it can be set using |full_name=Née maidenname Zackmann (^{Talk to me}/_{What I been doing}) 17:42, 23 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

For the same reason I am also going to remove |married_date=. Once again this is the ONLY infobox that has its own line for the date that someone was married. (To be clear, I actually checked).

If the date of marriage is known then {{marriage|name|date}} should be used.
