: I don’t speak Swedish (does the online source support the claim? can you point out where?) nor have access to that book; can you provide quotes verifying the above facts? [[User:Grapesurgeon|grapesurgeon]] ([[User talk:Grapesurgeon|talk]]) 19:38, 11 February 2026 (UTC) |

:: Sure, let’s go with ALT 2. Well, both the sources cited after the paragraph supports the claim. The online source gives you the following using Google Translate: “She participated in two wars, the Schleswig-Holstein War of 1848–1851, when she was used to transport Swedish and Norwegian soldiers to Funen and to patrol Danish waters, and during the Dano-Prussian War of 1864 as flagship in a Norwegian-Swedish squadron in the Skagerrak and Kattegat.”. The book basically says the same thing with slightly different words. [[User:Yakikaki|Yakikaki]] ([[User talk:Yakikaki|talk]]) 20:38, 11 February 2026 (UTC) |

Before reviewing other things, imo the hook is just not very interesting. So what that a boat was used to ship soldiers? Many boats are used for that purpose. Could you come up with one or more alternate hooks? grapesurgeon (talk) 15:48, 11 February 2026 (UTC)- @Yakikaki: grapesurgeon (talk) 15:59, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @Grapesurgeon:, how about ALT 1 … that the Swedish ship Thor (model pictured), was used to ship Swedish troops to Denmark during the First Schleswig War, a war in which Sweden did not participate? Yakikaki (talk) 19:32, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
