{{More significant coverage|section|date=January 2026}}

This template is used on pages that have too many non-significant sources. This template should be used in articles where the subject’s notability is received from just mentions rather than full and in-depth citations with significant coverage. This template can be used where the vast majority of the cited sources are just mentions of the subject and do not represent a major addition about the content of the subject.

Do not use this template on articles that contain sources with no significant sources, instead use {{No significant coverage|date=January 2026}}

There are two optional parameters.

  • |date= Specifies the month and year that this template was put in. It helps in identifying when the specified article needed more sources with significant coverage. Use {{More significant coverage|date=January 2026}} to specify the date the template was put in. Otherwise, using {{More significant coverage}} will automatically put the current date.
  • |small= Specifies the template box to be small and placed on the left. For example,{{More significant coverage|small=left}} produces the below result.
