“The Diplomatic Corpse” is a 1957 episode of the television series Alfred Hitchcock Presents.[1][2]
It is not to be confused with the 1958 British movie of the same name.
Married couple Evan and Janet Wallace drive to Mexico with her aunt who is English. The aunt dies of a heart attack. While looking for a doctor their car is stolen with the aunt’s coprse in it. They employ a local private detective as they want to claim the inheritance, but problems arise anyway.
