On 29 September 2025 at 7:31 p.m. EDT President Donald Trump posted a racist AI-generated video on Truth Social[1] in which he has Chuck Schumer calling the Democrats “woke pieces of shit”[2] and Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero (and sporting a handlebar mustache) whilst the mariachi Mexican Hat Dance plays in the background.[3] It was posted just hours after he had met the two in the Oval Office[4] regarding a possible government shutdown on 1 October.[5] It also was the first time he had met House Minority Leader Jeffries.[6]
