Rosa sosnovskyana is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosaceae. Endemic Armenia.
It is a tall shrub with grayish bark and small oblique spines; leaves are glabrous[2].
It grows on the edges of broadleaf forests in subalpine grasslands[2].
Threats and conservation

The main threat is habitat loss and degradation caused by shifting agriculture[2].
It grows in the Khosrovsky Reserve[2].
