Please do not add or change content, as you did at Sumeru (Genshin Impact), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. There is a decent chance that what you added is true, but without a citation to a reliable source that backs up your claims about Sumeru being based on Iran, those arguments can’t go in the article. Additionally, I believe that mentioning Iran specifically would place undue weight on Iran compared to other regions where Sumeru also takes inspiration from. Please let me know what you think. Hi Gommeh.

Respectfully, none of your edits in this section have any citations either. So I would appreciate it if you could also deal with this one as well. If it’s against the rules, you should delete what you’ve written about Sumeru resembling Middle East as well. Because as a Persian, I know it’s not based on Middle East as you’ve mentioned. But only Iran, Egypt, India, and Arabia. I don’t know if you know some geography, but Middle East does isn’t equivalent to just Iran, and Arab countries.

We can come to an agreement that I don’t add more about Persia that would place more weight on it, but just add Persia to the countries you’ve mentioned with no citation, and in return, you respect my decision as well and not to delete that small part I’ve added and that I’m sure of. You can also search about it online and see other users talking about it as well.

Thanks for reaching out and assuming good faith. The edits I made there are in the lead section of the article. The general expectation is that whatever is discussed in the introduction will be discussed in other sections of the article with citations there. Please revert your edits until and unless you can find a source that backs up your claims. I was not the person who added “Middle East” originally (as the article was translated over from the Chinese Wikipedia) so I think the person who originally wrote it there may have thought something like “Iran’s in the region still, so it’s fine to just say ‘Middle East’ to be more general.” Anyhow I think this looks good.
