Hello, Amit.vegan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, which will be reviewed by other editors. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don’t hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, visit the Teahouse, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Dear @Jimfbleak
Namaste 🙏🏼,
I’m drafting this article on the Vegan Convergence of the Peoples (V-COP), a series of conferences organised by Climate Healers. I am affiliated with the organisation where we all are volunteers, there are no paid employees, and am disclosing this connection per COI guidelines.
I welcome feedback from editors to ensure neutrality and reliable sourcing. We have some basic information about this event on our upcoming Climate Healers organisation page as well (yet to be published Draft:Climate Healers), and we think it should be on a separate page with details on each convergence, the theme, the presenters and outcome. What do you suggest @Jimfbleak
Apologies for the delay in responding, here is another draft.
Vegan Convergence of the Peoples (often abbreviated V-COP) is a series of global online and in-person conferences organised by the non-profit organisation Climate Healers. The events bring together participants from various fields — including environmental science, animal advocacy, art, spirituality, youth leadership and social justice — to explore the intersections of veganism, climate change and ecological transformation.
== History ==
The first V-COP meeting was held in 2018 under the auspices of Climate Healers. According to the organiser’s website, the event is held quarterly and combines virtual and in-person formats. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1} For example, V-COP #22 was announced for July 26-27, 2025. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
== Purpose and scope ==
V-COP is intended as a platform for dialogue, education and systems design in the context of what the organisers term “a Vegan World by 2026”. Its themes include vegan governance, vegan economy, vegan ecology and the transition of global food systems. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3} The conferences feature keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, and cultural contributions from around the world.
== Publications and resources ==
In addition to the events, Climate Healers offers a free “Books” section on its website that provides copyleft-licensed PDF downloads supporting the topics raised at V-COP and related programmes: Climate Healers Books (accessed YYYY-MM-DD). These publications include titles by founder Sailesh Rao and other contributors, covering veganism, animal agriculture and climate systems.
== Notable iterations ==
  • V-COP #8 (January 29-30, 2022) was advertised with prominent guest contributors and a global outreach campaign. :contentReference[oaicite:5]{index=5}
  • V-COP #22 (July 26-27, 2025) was listed on an external site event calendar and described as a two-day online event. :contentReference[oaicite:6]{index=6}
  • V-COP #23 (November 1-2, 2025) is described on the organiser’s blog as being held in Toronto and virtually, and inviting global participation. :contentReference[oaicite:7]{index=7}

Thank you @Significa liberdade,
I do need help.

I recommend to start by looking for sources that discuss Climate Healers. These sources should not be interviews with Rao. They should come from reliable sources and have significant coverage of the organization. I suggest findings at least three good sources before working on the article any further. Does that make sense? Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 06:32, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

On an unrelated issue, don’t mark edits as minor unless they really are, eg tiny grammar or spelling fixes.
Thank you for declaring your conflict of interest. That doesn’t mean you can write what you like, you must follow the guidance below:

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • Your text was entirely either unsourced or sourced to obviously non-independent sources like Rao and associated organisations, we need independent third-party sources.
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • You had no real facts, just aims and principles. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of staff, management structure, funding or expenditure.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • Your text is all aims and principles, not real facts, and you spam bold Vegan World by 2026 and Codes for a Healthy Earth
  • There shouldn’t be any url links in the article, only in the “References” or “External links” sections.
  • You had many. Note that socialmedia and YouTube shouldn’t be linked even in “References” or “External links”
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn’t sufficient.
  • See also is for links to relevant Wikipedia articles not already linked in your text.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. Jimfbleaktalk to me? 08:44, 24 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
