You have recently edited a page related to the Balkans or Eastern Europe, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks’ noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Dear Yamla,
- thanks for unblocking me. I promise you that i won‘t do anything that goes against wikipedia guidelines. And i‘ll make some more articles on Albanian or Kosovar articles in the future AverageSkiptar (talk) 17:55, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Your editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. That means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Instead of reverting edits, please stop editing the page and discuss on the talk page to create a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a Third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you break the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor’s work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—if it looks like you intend to continue reverting. - I stated in the Yugoslav offensive in Drenica (1999) article, that 13 out of the 23 sources in the article are western/neutral. Also it‘s not a “Yugoslav victory” when User:SpeedyHaste put a source, in which the quote doesn‘t even mention an offensive in Drenica. I might just add “Inconclusive” to the Result to avoid any more edit wars. And you have the audacity to call the sources in my article “unreliable” when they are reliable and neutral enough. AverageSkiptar (talk) 15:48, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- Also none of the sources i used were original research. Amnesty.org and Heike Krieger confirmed clashes in Banja and Kladernica. Amnesty.org doesn‘t make stuff up, neither does RadioKosovaeLire. And if you continue believing that the sources on my article are “unreliable”, then you should be more mature and stop removing reliable neutral sources. - I’m warning you for the last time. Other users have complained about you. If you continue with disruptive editing you will be reported to ANI. Knowing your past history it will not end well Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 20:54, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- Did you even read the replies i sent? Also it can‘t be disruptive editing when it‘s my article. AverageSkiptar (talk) 20:56, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
