I have also noticed that other home care organizations have existing pages, such as Right at Home and Nurse Next Door. Could you help me understand why those are acceptable while this effort has been blocked? My goal is to follow the same standards and contribute something useful and compliant.

On a personal note, I have long enjoyed Wikipedia for deep dives into music, history, and culture — from bands like Los Campesinos!, Pretty Girls Make Graves, and The Blood Brothers to historical and biblical research. Just this morning, I was reading about the history of Cleveland’s baseball teams. I knew about the Spiders prior to the Indians (now Guardians), but I had no idea about the Forest Citys, Blues, Lake Shores, Bronchos, and Naps. For me, the appeal of Wikipedia is discovering details like these and learning through exploration. Before this process, I did not know the proper way to contribute, but I want to learn and give back to the platform I use so often.

For transparency, I saw the note that “we do not consider chatbot-generated unblock requests.” My previous request was not generated by a chatbot. I often use CoPilot and ChatGPT to polish grammar or improve flow, since I tend to write in a stream-of-consciousness style and then edit for clarity, but the ideas, intent, and substance of my requests are my own.

Keep in mind a few things, that will help you get your editing access restored.

You are a WP:PAID editor under Wikipedia’s definition. It does not require a specific situation in which you are specifically paid for a specific edit to Wikipedia. That you are paid is more than enough for you to have to make the paid editor disclosure (which you can find at the link). If this weren’t the policy, then any paid editor could claim to not be paid for a specific edit.
All articles are evaluated in and of themselves. See WP:OTHERSTUFF. There are more than seven million articles on Wikipedia, many of which have never been formally reviewed, or are terrible and should be deleted. If articles could stay simply because an equally poor or even worse article existed, then Wikipedia would be in a constant death spiral of worse and worse quality articles. If you must look at articles as a guide as to expectations, then you should look at WP:FA and WP:GA which are articles that have been reviewed by the community for their quality.
The use of chatbots, while technically allowed with very careful limitations, is generally considered an indicator of very low trust. You’re asking administrators to trust your motives in editing an article and your understanding of the expectations of editing on Wikipedia. When you present them as a hybrid of your thoughts and the chatbot’s, nobody here can process what is your understanding and what is the chatbot’s frequently poor understanding of our policies and guidelines. Many administrators will use their discretion to not even consider an unblock request that obviously utilized AI. Your thoughts and your words, even if less than expertly expressed, are far more valuable to the community than the shiniest of words polished by a chatbot. Please note that Wikipedia is not a directory, meaning that it does not include topics just because those topics exist. Rather, all subjects need to abide by Wikipedia’s notability guidelines, in this case, company notability. In general, notability is established through reliable, independent sources with significant coverage of the subject. Wikipedia is not interested in what companies have to say about themselves. I appreciate the feedback. I’ve added the conflict of interest and paid contribution disclosures, but I still can’t seem to make any edits to other articles on Wikipedia because the indefinite block is still active. If my account is reactivated, I’d like to contribute in other areas. I use Wikipedia a lot and, like I mentioned before, I enjoy deep dives into topics like music and history. Before I was assigned this project, I just didn’t know how to get started with creating or editing articles. Hello again! Aside from our main talking point here, I would like to primarily contribute to poor linking/attribution in articles. While attempting to Emilio Tomasini (which was recommended for beginners), I noticed that one of the links redirected toward Alternative Press. While I was not familiar with Emilio Tomasini, I understood that “AP” is a music magazine and would not typically cover news about a financial analysist.

Additionally, my father worked as a Steel Worker in Cleveland for the majority of his life. I noticed that a page exists for Republic Steel, which links to Ling-Temco-Vought, ArcelorMittal, Mittal Steel Company and Cleveland-Cliffs. Aside from my dad, I have a lot of relatives and former classmates who work at “The Mill”. I take pride in my family’s history and could be a valuable resource when it comes to fact-checking these pages.

Also, I have spent a lot of my personal time researching my family history. The Sopko & Solomon sides of my family were immagrants of Slovak, Hungarian, Polish, and German decent. When they came to America, they settled in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and Star Junction, Pennsylvania and worked in the coal mines. Sadly, we do not have many stories of what life was like aside from “times were hard”. Everything I have ever learned (and documented) has been through various internet searches. In fact, I was the one to uncover our Hungarian heritage after discovering that Michael Szopko (I believe to be my sixth great grandfather) was born in the Kingdom of Hungary.

Last, but not least… I have a personal investment in the following bands, who are all connected by means of trading off line-ups. I would genuinely love to contribute where I can to the lore of these groups: The Blood Brothers (band), Neon Blonde, Head Wound City, Jaguar Love, Past Lives (band), Pretty Girls Make Graves, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs

This is why we recommend against editing topics with which you have a conflict of interest until you have a better understanding of how Wikipedia works. That is, sometimes it can be hard to only include what is mentioned in external sources rather than what you personally know. For example, you say you know a lot about ‘The Mill’ and thus, could factcheck. This could be beneficial, but again, you would need to rely solely on reliable, independent sources say — not on what you know from experience.

You’re welcome! My father has since retired and I have no close personal connection to the steelyard in Cleveland. A passion for our rich industrial history, yes… but my feelings toward “The Mill” are neutral. To me, it’s more of an interesting artifact about Cleveland culture. As for the bands listed, I have no direct connections to any of them. My ties to each are strictly the result of being a fan to many of the individual artists’ contributions to their primary bands and then subsequent side projects. Ultimately, I do wish to contribute to Wikipedia in a way that is fact-based. Believe me when I say, I enjoy creative writing & songwriting. That’s where I can pour emotion & opinion. @C.sopko, since it sounds like you’ve got interest in writing about things that fall under WP:PAID and things that don’t, my suggestion for you is that you create a second account (don’t do this yet! wait until an unblock!) called something very obvious, like “C.sopko.paid” or “C.sopkoCOI”, or whatever similar thing you like. On this account, you can edit about anything you’re interested in, so long as you don’t have a WP:COI with regards to that topic. On the other account, we put a paid declaration on your userpage and you follow all the editing guidelines at WP:COIEDIT and WP:PAID. So your article on Home Helpers would be created on that other account, and you would clearly label it as a paid creation (you’re an employee, so you’re “paid” whether you’re getting a direct payment for the article in specific or not).
