An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sia discography, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dance Alone.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to change the title of a page by cutting its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Toy with Me. This is known as a “cut-and-paste move“, and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the “Move” tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. You are misunderstanding what this Manual of Style states; it explicitly states: “Except on pages that are inherently time-sensitive and updated regularly (e.g. the “Current events” portal), terms such as now, today, currently, present, to date, so far, soon, upcoming, ongoing, and recently should be avoided.” Toy with Me and future album releases do not fall under the linked current events portal (or even Category:Current events). Those are the exception. Album releases are not current events, therefore, upcoming is in violation of the Manual of Style. Nitpicking the wording of a Manual of Style page to suit the inclusion of the word, etc., is not what the Manual of Style actually states. livelikemusic (TALK!) 01:51, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Future album releases articles are updated regularly; so it doesn’t fail the Manual of Style at all. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 02:23, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In comparison to the pages under the Current events category, it is not. They specifically exampled Current events for a specific reason. livelikemusic (TALK!) 02:51, 16 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! @Camilasdandelions thanks for your contributions for Destiny (Ellie Goulding song). Unfortunaly they’re serious errors on the citations, to be more exact the paraphrasing and the lack of citations for the quotes. Please, do not delete the flag {{Close paraphrasing}}, until someone else fix those problems.

Each fact or claim in an article must be verifiable. Additionally, four types of information must be accompanied by an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the material:

Any material that needs an inline citation but does not have one may be removed. Please immediately remove contentious material about living people (or existing groups) that is unsourced or poorly sourced.

For how to write citations, see citing sources. Verifiability, no original research, and neutral point of view are Wikipedia’s core content policies. Paradisetoshutdown (talk) 23:11, 20 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Paradisetoshutdown! I was unknown what exactly happened, and now I fixed it. Please check! ^^ Camilasdandelions (talk!) 00:28, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! @Camilasdandelions thanks for answering, i will check that out! Another thing, you also undid several of edits I had done prior, without bothering to provide a reason and/or waiting for a reply, which comes out as rude, so please don’t do it again. have a nice day! Paradisetoshutdown (talk) 00:15, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Paradisetoshutdown Could you please which edit I’ve been rude? I’m so sorry for that, I thought I already provided the reason via edit summaries or talk pages. As I remember, I removed various contents and citations from Ellie Goulding songs’ articles, because they’re unreliable. In Wikipedia, we must use reliable sources only, and vague sources are not recommended at all. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 00:19, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Camilasdandelions I’m talking about the composition section, which had the name of the composers of the track and the producer, and the quote box of the singer, which at first the type of template was changed (for some reason), and now got deleted.
About the citations, some were from high-profile sites like Forbes, and still got deleted it. This also happened with independent music outlets reviews where the context was ignored. See: WP:CONTEXTMATTERS WP:RSCONTEXT WP:NEWSBLOG. Paradisetoshutdown (talk) 03:32, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
