Heya, just going back through past AfDs and I saw your comment on the Michael Meaney (darts player) AfD about some sources being hidden behind an institution paywall. You might find access to WP:The Wikipedia Library handy for this – it’s what I use to access the ProQuest articles and it comes in handy for deletion discussions. Best regards and UTV — ser! I’m gonna open this up for minor edits for the 2026 worlds page

I think it’s safe to say we can still call the PDC Order of Merit the PDC Order of Merit, right? We can clarify that it’s called the Werner Rankings Ladder now in the article but it’s better to use the common name, same way we just say 2026 World Championship instead of 2025/26 Paddy Power World Championship. Greenflipper (talk) 19:18, 17 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I was slightly concerned by the series of edits you made across the board to players’ inboxes amending the information round Players Championships. For some players with large numbers of titles you removed all information except for the total won, while others who have fewer seem to have years included, but it is not clear what criteria, if any, were used to determine which players would have information taken away and which would not.

Did you reach a consensus with other users on this widespread change? I am concerned that it will be applied inconsistently and that, in any case, such a major change to the long-established infobox content should not be done without a wider consensus. Thank you. I recommend you take a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Darts#Infoboxes and share your thoughts on this there. DartsF4 (talk) 19:36, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DartsF4. Thank you for your work on 2026 PDC World Darts Championship. Another editor, Noxoug1, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Well written article

Hi, I noticed you’re using flagathlete template instead of PDCFlag in World Grand Prix article. What is the reason? Haifisch7734 (talk) 18:51, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That’s something to ask @Greenflipper, as that user implemented it. DartsF4 (talk) 18:59, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So let’s just change it back to PDCFlag, looks better IMO. Haifisch7734 (talk) 19:08, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I would recommend you inform Greenflipper of your opinion DartsF4 (talk) 19:10, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think I just copied it over from the World Matchplay article which I nominated for GA, flag policy would have been immediately picked up on in the review. I don’t mind which one is used for the Grand Prix. Greenflipper (talk) 20:40, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
What is the flag policy? Haifisch7734 (talk) 13:08, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Mostly stuff found in MOS:FLAG, there were a lot of arguments about it on darts articles about two years ago Greenflipper (talk) 13:28, 28 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This came up in the spotcheck for the Gemma Hayter DYK but it was something I was already wanting to touch on. Are ADC results notable enough to have their own performance timelines and mentions in general? Greenflipper (talk) 13:26, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

We can remove them if you want to DartsF4 (talk) 17:11, 9 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

On Pro Tour results, how far would articles normally go back? Your wikitable in your sandbox goes back to 08 but Callaby for instance has played events as far back as 04 (but we wouldn’t have corresponding articles on those, and its hard to pin down exactly where some of them were as they’re just listed as ‘Holland’!) – also, you don’t include UK Open regionals in your tables, correct? Thank you! Porterjoh (talk) 23:32, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

As far back as you can go with the reliable sources you have.
My tables only go as far back as 2008 because that’s when MVG’s, Dolan’s start on their pages
I think if you look around you could find out where they were.
You could do separate UK Open Regional tables and send me examples DartsF4 (talk) 23:36, 15 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

thank you for re-adding westeros with citations! please may i ask you to make it clear what is being cited for what, and to use higher quality sources? some of these seem only boderline reliable and it’s unclear to me what information is being gleaned in each source in such a long list of names. if you could also provide information that is more real-world (i.e. not based around in universe information) then that would be great too! happy editing.–Plifal (talk) 11:47, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The page isn’t really my focus and I’m probably not the best editor for that job DartsF4 (talk) 12:22, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
well, nor is it mine, but since you’ve shown an interest in it by re-adding the content, i would appreciate it if it reflected high source integrity for a popular franchise, or at the least that the manner of its edits and sourcing were clarified. 🙂 —Plifal (talk) 12:58, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You’re free to do it yourself DartsF4 (talk) 13:03, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
well, as are you. i have zero knowledge of the series and no interest in it, or the wikipedia article beyond basic editorial standards; whereas you’ve seemed to indicate an interest by editing in the first place, so please bear this in mind when re-placing and sourcing content. happy editing!–Plifal (talk) 13:38, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
