Hiya! Had to take a bit of a break but I am back. How’s life? Note that most nerdy people are able to do this kinda stuff; I may be a genius but the fact that I can wrangle lists of Wikipedia usernames is not conclusive evidence one way or the other. Hi, glad you’re back! I’m thinking of running an Asia-Oceania Destubathon/article creation contest in November. Can you come up with an A-Z list of active users from WikiProjects/articles spanning those countries? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:12, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The Alien333 guy had a trick for that. Of course Oceania has a population of less than ~50m, while Asia has a population of ~4.8b so you gotta take that into account if you want to ensure at least some of the people are actually from Oceania. You can then use User:Polygnotus/Scripts/FilterInactiveOrBlocked.js to filter duplicates and those who are inactive or blocked. Polygnotus (talk) 10:59, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The editors don’t have to be from there, but just active with topics from Asia or Oceania! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:47, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

are actually from Oceania

actually Oceania

No idea how to use it to generate a list, can you do it? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:56, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
WP:VPT will teach you how to fish. Show them Quarry 94186 and Quarry 95322. Or maybe ping our alien overlords. Polygnotus (talk) 14:13, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am working on User:Polygnotus/PAWS/cat2users. Polygnotus (talk) 21:41, 10 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nice one. I still need to work on that invite list before the next contest. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 08:56, 11 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yesterday I heard another guitarist, with Mayte Martín, watch. — Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:17, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I added the concert I heard and a review of the Naxos collection by Montesinos. Feel free to add more detail, about the pieces and her playing. I’m out for the day. —Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:13, 3 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Today I remember a singer who impressed me on stage. – You are invited to a peer review after FAC, – perhaps just look at the four open questions, and if you have almost no time, just at the source question (#3). In a poll below, you could simply mark yes or no. It’s an experiment. The piece has its 300th anniversary on Christmas Day, and should be as good as possible by then. —Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:39, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That source didn’t have anything else I thought worth adding on Montesinos BTW. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:16, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You mean for Montesinos? I thought the same, or would have done it 😉 – How about a look at the source question for Bach? —Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:20, 6 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It’s not clear what you want me to do or say. I find FAC and peer reviewing tedious admittedly. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:54, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The source question is #3 (of four that were open when the FAC was closed). The reviewer asked me why I didn’t include a certain book that came up in a Google search, and I explained. I copied the dialogue (of all four questions) from the closed FAC into the PR. (Needless to say, I would have preferred to continue the conversation in the FAC.) You can look at the third question and have options: 1) do nothing, 2) “vote” by a signature for either inclusion of the book or no inclusion, 3) discuss the matter in more detail. I’d guess that the look should take around five minutes, because you don’t have to look at the article, just the dialogue and the book (snippets). I’d be interested if that guess is right, – if you look please let me know 😉 – If you don’t have time never mind, – others have already commented. —Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:24, 7 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
