We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS please. See WP:42. Please also see WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources and WP:SELFPUB which has clear limitations on self published sources. Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Hello Drabmuh. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Washington Academy of Sciences, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia’s mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. I am not paid by the organization for my service or for drafting and posting this article. I am a 100% volunteer for this organization. I am happy to provide an attestation or any disclosures needed. I appreciate your patience with me. This organization is a non-profit 503(c) corporation in the U.S. and is part of the National Association for Academies of Science. Than you for your prompt and clear answer. Regrettably we take the view that a volunteer is paid by the reward they receive by being a volunteer for the organisation about which they write, even if that reward is a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. While I understand your position, may I suggest full transparency with WP:PAID in order to avoid any future problems. There are only small limitations on what you may do. Thank you for the clarification, I will declare that I am paid so there is no misunderstanding about my COI. I’ll read the WP:PAID page and make the necessary disclosures on my user page.
