This may have been an error on your part, but I noticed that you reverted my correction to the Public Law 115-97 entry in Wikipedia, the so-called (but unofficial) “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”. The entry stood correctly for six years until one individual decided to reopen whether Senator Sanders (I-VT) had the Short Title stricken from the final legislation.
I refer you to the Blue Book for Public Law 115-97 directly. Alternatively, you can call the Chief of Staff for the Joint Committee on Taxation, Thomas Barthold, Esq. directly, and, if he is available, he will explain it to you.
The Short Title did not survive the Senate enactment. So even though the original bill was captioned “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”, the final law did not have this Short Title. Hoofin (talk) 06:16, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- Please refer to WP:COMMONNAME. If you believe a page should change its long standing name, please start a request at WP:RM. However, before you do that, please note that the common name is clearly the stricken short title in this case, not the official long title. That’s why corporations are named on Wikipedia by their branding, not their official corporate name that ends in LLC. Esolo5002 (talk) 07:23, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- WP:COMMONNAME is not the issue at all, though. The title of the section is “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”. The initial paragraph explains that the actual name of the law is what people refer to as the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”. As if something popularly became known as “Buffy’s Law” or “Bulls*t Act”, but didn’t have that name anywhere in the actual law. Wikipedia would have the common name title, but not compound the error by using that as if the nickname would survive Template:USStatute Hoofin (talk) 01:07, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- I notice you once again reverted, but you haven’t explained why WP:COMMONNAME is a factor. The title of the entry remains the same. The first paragraph informs the reader that the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” is actually named something else.
- Bill Clinton is actually named William Jefferson Clinton. It’s the same thing. Hoofin (talk) 13:31, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I’m BlueboyLINY. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, WLNY-TV, but you didn’t provide a reliable source. It’s been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. BlueboyLINY (talk) 19:24, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
I’m not sure if this is worth adding, if you are updating the schedule in the future, but MLB Network and the BBC have signed an agreement. https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/mlb-bbc-tv-rights-deal-uk-yankees-red-sox-london-series/
“Coverage will start on 24th September with the third game of a four-match series between rivals the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, which will be streamed live on the BBC iPlayer service. The game will be produced by the MLB Network and feature commentary geared towards a UK audience, with former Yankees player CC Sabathia, broadcaster Melanie Newman and podcast host Felix White all part of the commentary team.”
My understanding is that game was on Yes in the US, but I can tell you the thing was branded as a MLB Network Showcase here https://i.imgur.com/RE3ZMUF.png TIGHazard (talk) 21:59, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I’m RPI2026F1. I noticed that you recently removed content from Major League Baseball on ABC without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don’t worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Hey Esolo5002, can you please engage on the talk pages? I see you are continuing to edit but you are not engaging in good faith discussions anywhere. – Fuzheado | Talk 15:27, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Esolo5002 – A friendly note, that you didn’t need to put “Copied from 2023 collapse of Damar Hamlin, see that page for full attribution” into the edit summary, since you are the author of both edits – Special:Diff/1131751754. – Fuzheado | Talk 16:34, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- Sigh, @Esolo5002. Now that 2023 collapse of Damar Hamlin has been closed at AfD as a redirect, you have copy/pasted that text into a new draft Draft:Collapse of Damar Hamlin. You are reproducing the same problems with your original cut/paste move in terms of copyright and attribution. Again. This page actually should be speedy deleted without discussion under criteria: WP:G4 “Recreation of a page that was deleted per a deletion discussion: This applies to sufficiently identical copies, having any title, of a page deleted via its most recent deletion discussion.”
- However, as a courtesy I wanted to raise it here in case you had a better explanation. Thanks. – Fuzheado | Talk 13:48, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- If you continue to harass me I will have to open an arbitration hearing against you. Please note “It excludes pages in userspace and draftspace where the content was converted to a draft for explicit improvement.” (How can I make the page ready for a future article if I don’t have a draft?)
- Also note that was no copyright violations on the initial article. An admin REMOVED your copyright notice. But just for your sake, I have blanked and recreated the draft with a copied notice.
- Once again, if you continue to harass me, I will have no choice but to take further action. Esolo5002 (talk) 15:19, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, I got a notification from this Talk page from another editor[1] but the comment was removed. I’m not familiar with the current dispute after the AfD but I hope it is resolved the right way. Good luck! Saucysalsa30 (talk) 02:52, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
The removal has happened. Why should we keep an out-of-date title? —Ferien (talk) 21:13, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- We need concensus on what we should move it too. Otherwise we get a string of uncessary moves. Esolo5002 (talk) 21:14, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- I get that, and the name I moved it to wasn’t intended to be final. It was just intended to keep the page name up-to-date while we discuss. —Ferien (talk) 21:16, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
An RM discussion can result in the selection of a new title that is different from the one that was proposed. I suggest to revert the closure, since I don’t think there is a consensus to keep the current title. This is also not a good opportunity for an {{RMNAC}}. — BarrelProof (talk) 21:27, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
- Revert if you think that’s the best move. In my opinion this is the closest safe option. Discussion can continue. Esolo5002 (talk) 21:29, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
[2] To answer your question: why would they want it? What’s the point of expelling a member because of procedural matters, especially when he represents a strongly Republican district that would merely elect another Republican? Aside from pro-Confederate members expelled at the beginning of the Civil War, only three members have ever been expelled — one for treason and two for bribery — so expelling a member merely because of his lawful activities in the House would set an awful precedent. Thus the importance of my clarification: according to the source, Gingrich was calling for him to be expelled from the caucus, not from the House, as can be inferred from the previous wording. As far as the reference to the Democrats: if Republicans held 2/3 or more House seats, they could expel him even with unanimous Democratic opposition, but since that’s not the case, some Democrats would need to vote for expulsion. Nyttend (talk) 19:44, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
In a 24 hour period you made 2 reverts on the infobox, and 1 revert was restoring the RFKJR gallery to the body. I know you were implementing consensus, especially when adding the RFKJR gallery, but we want to be careful on articles designated “contentious”. Just a friendly reminder. Prcc27 (talk) 18:24, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks’ noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. Prcc27 (talk) 17:22, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
“You have been told to not do this and you did it anyway.”
Yes, I went ahead with my BOLD edit because the only argument against my edit was that there is an active RfC; nobody refuted my points. The onus for inclusion has not been met, and keeping RFKJR in the infobox seems like stonewalling at this point. Prcc27 (talk) 15:14, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
You have recently made edits related to the Arab–Israeli conflict. This is a standard message to inform you that the Arab–Israeli conflict is a designated contentious topic. Hi, just letting you know as per your request that I’ve reverted your edit on Template:2024VTDem and added back all write-ins that recieved more than 100 votes, with the rest being included in an “other write-ins” category. I’ve expanded on my reasoning a little bit on Talk:2024 Vermont Democratic presidential primary, but given Vermont does publish write-ins, I think it’s worth including some particularly strong write-in performances in the results table. I’m not exactly sure where the line should lie, but I think something like Rashida Tlaib’s 1.1% performance, which was stronger than a number of candidates on the ballot, is worth including. Feel free to put your thoughts on that talk page! LivelyRatification (talk) 06:04, 15 March 2024 (UTC)

Hi Esolo, You recently opened an Afd for Antisemitism in Columbia University. The Afd was closed with a very clear consensus to keep. Nevertheless, after which you deleted the article. You also wrote “Bold redirect, which was suggested in the AFD. Most of this content is already there”. I don’t want to be rude, but I don’t think that’s true, as the result of the Afd was clearly keep and there is no mention of redirect.
As I wrote to you before, let’s talk about these on the articles talk page. Eladkarmel (talk) 11:16, 15 May 2024 (UTC)

Ballot access in the 2024 United States presidential election
There’s a list of Ballot Deadlines there. The line between ‘Minor Party’ and ‘Independent’ is super super fuzzy as often candidates are both in different states with the smaller third parties or the coalition candidates. But these specific states have both deadlines passed AND No Write Ins allowed which I’m pretty sure means they are 100% no doubts about it off the maps if they aren’t picked up yet. Color them Black or Dark Grey or something
| State | Minor party | Independent | Write-in |
|---|---|---|---|
| HI | Feb 22 | Aug 7 | No write-ins |
| OK | Feb 29 | Jul 15 | No write-ins |
| SD | Mar 26 | Aug 6 | No write-ins |
| SC | May 5 | Jul 15 | No write-ins |
| NV | May 17 | Jul 5 | No write-ins |

Hello, Esolo5002,
Please do not move articles to a different page title when they are being discussed at an AFD deletion discussion. We have an editing tool, XFDcloser, which closers use to relist discussions and close them. While XFDcloser is invaluable at doing those two things, it does not understand when an article is at a different page title than it was when it was nominated for an AFD and discussion closures become more complicated. So, if you could just hold off on moving an article until the AFD is closed, it would be greatly appreciated. I realize that this means not acting immediately when you see problems with article page titles like spelling and punctuation, but it would be very helpful if you could make a mental note of a change that you can make after the discussion is closed. It’s only important to get the page title right if an article is Kept, if consensus is to Delete it, then it doesn’t really matter what the page title is when it was nominated. Thank you for your help. Liz Read! Talk! 00:32, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello. I saw your edit here at 2025 United States federal budget. You’ve removed 6,181 bytes without proper explanation. May I ask why? Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 19:52, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- I should have added an edit summary, in hindsight. The information I removed is the same as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. I figured it was better to have that information there instead of incomplete information at 2025 United States federal budget. I won’t object if you want to revert. - Alright, thank you for the detail. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 03:30, 20 May 2025 (UTC)
I just want to add that I did not cut and paste the information on proposed increases in federal employee required retirement contributions. It is an important issue that helps the article, though. Starlighsky (talk) 18:11, 20 June 2025 (UTC)

Ion Television should no longer be included on any schedules from 2020 onwards; following its acquisition by the E. W. Scripps Company in 2021, it began transitioning to an internet-only FAST channel in 2022, effectively rendering its OTA feed as practically dead as virtually none of the Ion stations air any local programming at all unlike the other commercial broadcast networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, The CW, The CW Plus, and MyNetworkTV) and non-commercial public broadcaster PBS. In fact, when Ion Television does cease operations as an over-the-air network, it will fully convert to internet-only AVOD service, effectively rendering the OTA feed as completely dead. 2600:6C50:57F:BA33:14BC:AF8F:F61B:785C (talk) 01:24, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Where are you seeing that it plans to shut down its OTA feed? Launching a FAST channel does not mean that OTA is gone. The larger issue that The CW Plus, which is not a network, it is a version of The CW for smaller markets. Stop inserting that into your edits. Esolo5002 (talk) 01:42, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- I’m sure that Ion Television will be shutting down its over-the-air feed within a few years as it transitions to an internet-only streaming channel after the ATSC 3.0 transition is completed, as many of these NextGen TV stations will shutdown their ATSC 1.0 signals and begin implementing DRM on free over-the-air television. 2600:6C50:57F:BA33:14BC:AF8F:F61B:785C (talk) 01:51, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- You are assuming. There is no assuming on Wikipedia. Esolo5002 (talk) 01:56, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- I can only hope that Qubo would relaunch as a streaming channel and take over the channel space occupied by Ion Television’s over-the-air feed within a few years, effectively bringing back non-E/I children’s programming to over-the-air television once again. Besides, Ion Television had a better history when it was known as PAX TV, which had original programming during its early years, not unlike in recent years as it’s running on life support by airing marathon rerun blocks of crime dramas and occasional airings of films during the holiday season. In fact, the streaming feed preempts the overnight paid programming with programming from Ion Plus, which recently relaunched as an OTA network as it took over the channel space occupied by Defy TV. 2600:6C50:57F:BA33:14BC:AF8F:F61B:785C (talk) 07:15, 18 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I’m Meganinja202, and welcome to Wikipedia. I appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2026 World Baseball Classic qualification, it appears that you has put oo much redundancy in the text, breaking the summary style of the text, while is not against Wikipedia’s policies, it can produce problems in the reading coompreation of the text. Please be prepared to write following the guidelines. You can have a look at the guide on writing better artticles and the feedback of other editios at edit notes. Thank you.

- Ignoring the obvious irony of talking about “reading comprehension” with this talk, that’s fine. I actually added it because I figured it was better than our previous disagreement over whether or not MLB Network should be included as a USA viewership option. I’m not sure why adding the actual countries is redundant, but fine. MLB Network is avaliable in Panama and the US, so I have included it in those lists. I highly recommend using a spell checker like Grammarly in future messages, as the large number of spelling mistakes make it very hard to decipher what exactly you mean. Esolo5002 (talk) 17:12, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- if you dont want to get warnings like this, then dont be “impersonal and disrespectful”, also I am dyslexic and asI menioned on my profile i am autistic and non-native in english, I am bound to make mistakes some times, especialy in a hurry that you makes me to go every time, since you revert back without even try to think a minute why people are telling you stuffs
- about the page MLB tends to broadcast stuffs at internattional level, including MLB Network, that broadcasts even on europe via DAZN and formely by ESPN, so talk about it alongside youtube and social medias makes more sense contextually wise than link every single area that mlb network covers, as comparasion, think for a second, do you think we would need to list every place where youtube and facebook was allowed to work?
- let the graphic to list non-mlb owned broadcasters that show only in specific areas
- about mlb on fox contact, while it is known by people in sports bussiness area for some time specially due various factors, including the popularity of tournamentt in US pre 2017/2023, there hasnt much direct info among those that report on, it seems they took as common sense or not noteworthy enough to put in the articles, when its mentioned it is mentioned not-directly as “MLB special event” or in the case of only source i could may put “it was bound to show again” without mention the mlb contract, i will try dig deeper to find someone that mentions it directly but i am not that hopeful Meganinja202 (talk) 17:55, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- I don’t know what this long paragraph means. Please try to use a spell checker, or at least some form of punctuation. There are many people with many different levels of ability and somehow they all find ways communicate in readable ways! Esolo5002 (talk) 17:58, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Please dont act in bad faith, I am trying to try to resolve the dispute in a civil manner
- I will repeat everything one more time, even more clearner
- About the WBC qualifiers broadcast list:
-
- MLB tends to broadcast itself at internattional level, including MLB Network, MLB Network is shown even in a big shunk of europe via DAZN, formely by ESPN
- So its better talk about it in the same pararaph text alongside youtube and social medias, it makes more sense contextually-wise than list every single area that MLB network covers
- As comparasion, think for a second, do you think we would need to list every place single region where youtube and facebook is allowed to work?
- in the list, list only non-mlb owned broadcasters that show the games only in specific areas
-
- About mlb on fox contract question:
-
- It is known by people in sports business area for some time, that, due various factors (including the popularity of WBC in US pre 2017/2023), MLB gave away WBC rights to FOX Sports as part of the MLB deal for 2022-2028, The WBC makes part of the same “MLB special events” package as some international regular season games, “MLB at Field of Dreams” or “MLB Speedway Classic“
- But, there has not much that makes direct reference to this, while there has some sources in various wiki articles that make soft references to this contract, they tend to overlook the question, it seems they took the contract question as common sense and/or not noteworthy enough to report as whole in the articles, when the contract connecion is mentioned, it is mentioned not-directly as “MLB special events” or in the case of the only source i found that may count for you, they had put as “it was bound to show again” without mention the mlb contract direcly.
- as resume, people know that due A+B that the WBC makes part of same package as MLB games, but, nobody noteworthy has saw the need to say it directly enough, prefering to make only soft indirect references that could or not could count as sources

- MLB Network is an American cable network. It is targeted at Americans. It advertises itself in the American eastern time zone. The link you provided makes no mention of DAZN, just the defunct ESPN Player. MLB’s deal with DAZN ended in 2021 as far as I can tell. As for the rest of that question, I still have no idea what you mean. As far as I can tell, MLB Network is only available in the United States, along with the Bahamas, Bonaire, Canada, the Cayman Islands, Curacao, Panama, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and St. Maarten. A far cry from Facebook and YouTube, which are available globally. Earlier, despite being provided sources, you denied that Fox Sports was even airing World Baseball Classic qualifer games. So let’s talk about who is acting in bad faith.
- As for your MLB on Fox comments. I have still having a hard time figuring out what in the world you are trying to say. Fox announced agreements with the WBC in October 2022 [3] and October 2025 [4]. Fox announced its agreement with Major League Baseball in November of 2018.
- I again highly recommend utalizing a spell checker like Grammarly. It’s free! [5]. If you can’t do that, I’m starting to wonder if you are just trolling. Esolo5002 (talk) 20:37, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
