Hello! I’m Arjayay. I just wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the page Richard Wright (musician) have been reverted because they appear to have added incorrect information. The University of Westminster did not exist at the time Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Paul Xuereb were at Regent Street Polytechnic, so they could not have attended it. – Arjayay (talk) 22:28, 31 October 2025 (UTC)

- The Royal Polytechnic Institution closed in September 1881, so certainly not that.
Wright’s article states “Wright enrolled at Regent Street Polytechnic (later incorporated into University of Westminster)” i.e. a redirect and a direct link to the same article, which is not ideal.
Mason’s article has “Regent Street Polytechnic (now the University of Westminster)” with a piped link, which is better.
Paul Xuereb has “He was educated at the Regent Street Polytechnic in London” giving no direct mention of the University of Westminster, although the piped link goes there.
Personally, I’m not convinced we need a specific mention of the University of Westminster, as Regent Street Polytechnic links straight to it in any case, so my preference is a simple pipe as Xuereb’s article, although I suspect some University of Westminster students like the association, and I would not object to Mason’s wording. – Arjayay (talk) 12:02, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
