Hi there! I had not necessarily planned on working on the Leyeles article further, as I just came across it while checking out the New Pages feed, but I can keep an eye on it in case I am inspired. 🙂 I think more of his works are available through the Yiddish Book Center website, but I didn’t get around to adding those.

Are you planning to start an article on the In-Zikh/Introspectivism movement? I don’t have much experience with literary topics/Yiddish literature, but would be down to help expand/start that article.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Im always intrigued by which of my new pages get additions and which dont. In Zikh is on my list. Ive found some sources for it and there are a few links. Hopefully in the next few days. I mainly just look for red links that have sources. I just stumbled into Yiddish culturists while learning more about Yiddish.

The original page really needed to be entirely rewritten due to tonal issues. I would recommend rewriting the page with sources and submitting it through Wikipedia:Articles for creation. I just put a CSD for lack of notability on Valigia Blu. I don’t know that we could do the same for the other page, but I wouldn’t oppose a PROD if we can’t find any reliable sources. I do have the BLP-PROD on Genevieve Jackson. If it goes 7 days without a citation being added it will be speedy deleted. Creates a bit of the catch-22, if we add sources, we prevent the speedy delete and need to start a delete thread, if we leave it…it stays un-cited. Hi there! Thanks for voicing your concern. I was following the wording on the notice which says “If this article does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself”. Since I added/planned to add some refs/did some copy-editing, I felt the speedy delete would no longer be applicable. @ForsythiaJo, you’re safe, it’s fair to remove the CSD tag if you disagree with it, whether you’re going to make edits to the article or not. Running from October 1 to 31, 2025, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) editathon event with the theme What Women Do! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We’ll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you’re an old hand at GAs – we’d love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women’s works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 different occupations or professions (or broader roles in society) by month’s end.
