Hey @GoldRomean, while checking WP:EFFPR, I saw this user make a report. After reviewing their contributions, I have some minor concerns about sock puppetry. The first edit they do is adding an infobox to their userpage, respond to a RM with neutral without any explanation, post this message to a blocked user’s user talk, hit an LTA filter 4 times, ask Oshwah for help, edit their userpage a lot, ask for help at ANI, create an edit request, list a template for discussion, and make this message.

I have severe sight empowerment and I’m old, so please excuse my lack of ability here.
I spotted a mistake and would be very grateful to have it corrected.
Should be should British Empire Games, 1934, wrestling, third-place (bronze medal) Murdo White (Scotland) not Murdoch as listed.

Is it possible to change this place?

Hello @Murdo White! No worries; I’m happy to help. I’m not sure what page you’re referring to; so I’ll assume it’s Murdoch White. A key policy of Wikipedia is verifiability, which means that all statements are backed up by reliable sources. Unfortunately, of the sources I can access on that page ([1][2][3]), all of them use the name “Murdoch” Do you perhaps have any sources that use the name “Murdo”? Hello! I am a relatively new editor; I had a brief stint learning the ropes back in 2023 and came back recently.

What I’d look for in an adopter is someone who can help motivate me to keep editing, who can teach me about policy and give me little projects to deal with the insurmountable size of Wikipedia. I’ve been learning the ways of anti-vandalism and I’d love to learn more about how best to deal with it and the different tools and actions to take, as well.

I am on Discord as my main messaging system and part of the reason why I want to be your adoptee is that you mention using Discord in your userpage.
