Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to A Rush of Blood to the Head have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.
Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:38, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at List of best-selling albums of the 21st century. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.
- If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
- ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
- If you need help, please see the Introduction to Wikipedia, and if you can’t find what you are looking for there, place
{{Help me}}on your talk page and someone will drop by to help. - The following is the log entry regarding this warning: List of best-selling albums of the 21st century was changed by Hilario21 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.961197 on 2025-08-28T23:48:54+00:00
Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 23:49, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
- I put information and cited sources what else do you want? Hilario21 (talk) 21:35, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
I am providing official data because it reverts the edition??? Hilario21 (talk) 23:51, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
- Please read WP:CONTEXTMATTERS which says that sources should be assessed for accuracy rather than taken at face value. The problem with your https://www.concierto.cl source is that it’s impossible for the album to have 3 million more units sold from August 2022 to August 2025. That many albums sold is considered a hit record by many observers, but the record came out 20 years earlier, and the sales have tapered off significantly. It has not been promoted in any unusual way in the last three years. Also, your concert website source is basically a blog platform, not reliable. Binksternet (talk) 02:36, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- It is not a consensus that initial sales are marked by Billboard. In fact, Billboard is only in the USA and could not publish exact figures. If Parlophone had published it, there would be no doubt. There are many sites that report that A Rush Of Blood To The Head sold more than 20 million copies. Hilario21 (talk) 03:03, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- I’m not convinced, and there are other people like me interested in making that page be as accurate as possible. You would have to convince them as well, to create a new consensus. You should start a discussion at Talk:A Rush of Blood to the Head or Talk:List of best-selling albums of the 21st century.
- RIAA says the album is certified for 4 million units in the US.[1] Chartmasters says the album sold almost 14 million worldwide in straight album sales.[2] (Ignore their quirky and unique EAS method of counting.) Chartdata.org says the album sold 5 million in the US.[3] Bestsellingalbums.org says the album sold 11.6 million worldwide.[4] BPI says the album is certified 10× Platinum which means 3 million units were sold in the UK. Their chart says the album sells about 300,000 units every five years at this point. There’s no way it would jump up to 20 million all of a sudden. Binksternet (talk) 04:07, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- ok I’ll start a new conversation, I absolutely want the same for this page, to prove the veracity of the data about the album, there are many other websites that claim that A Rush Of Blood To The Head by Coldplay had already surpassed 20 million copies in 2022, there are even sites that refute the billboard publication, saying that they are only estimates but are not real data since the album has not been updated for a long time, those certifications that you name have not been updated since 2012, Parlophone published that until 2021 Coldplay had sold more than 160 million pure albums, it is impossible that A Rush Of Blood To The Head has sold only 17 million copies being one of their best-selling albums Hilario21 (talk) 20:15, 11 September 2025 (UTC)

Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article’s talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 04:05, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- It is not my intention to enter into an editing war. The article says albums, not records. I think the editor of the publication knows more than us, that’s why he wrote albums. If he hadn’t mentioned records, it seems impartial and not serious to me to write things that are not in the article. Hilario21 (talk) 04:18, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
