As this page says, the discussion was closed 8 years ago and so should not be edited and I have reverted your edit. If you feel that the subject now meets WP:NAUTHOR then create a draft article at Draft:Stephen Maitland-Lewis and submit it to WP:AFC. Please note that if you know the subject in real life, you must disclose so, per our conflict of interest guideline. SmartSE (talk) 16:53, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So far almost every citation I’ve looked at has been sponsored coverage of some kind or another – this kind of coverage does not count for notability.

To name a few … KVCR (the NPR station in San Bernardino, CA), KESQ TV (the ABC TV affiliate in Palm Springs, CA), The Queens Chronicle (newspaper in Queens, NY), WWNO Radio (the NPR station in New Orleans), Off Beat (popular music magazine in New Orleans), NY Journal of Books (long established book review), The Big Thrill (magazine for International Thriller Writers) NOLA.com (online version of New Orleans Times Picayune) and WRKF Radio (NPR station in Baton Rouge) are not sponsored coverage. Appreciate if you can please review these links. Thank you. Hoffr (talk) 14:32, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Appreciate if you can please review the links and view the coverage in the reference section.
This article is supported by reliable sources, three different NPR (National Public Radio) interviews, interview on KABC-TV affiliate, three long established newspapers in NY plus the New Orleans Times Picayune newspaper group & Off Beat (very popular music magazine in New Orleans) as well as the regarded NY Journal of Books. The links referenced are much more than passing mentions and most of the links included are at length interviews with the subject. Thank you for the consideration. More sponsored refs have been added again. Recommend next reviewer reject if no improvement.

It would be most helpful if you can please clarify which sources you think are sponsored.
For instance, KVCR is an NPR station; KESQ TV is an ABC television network; WNNO is another NPR station – all three of these were interviews not sponsored. In addition, Off Beat is magazine in New Orleans, The Big Thrill a national magazine & Queens Chronicle a newspaper in NY – again none of these are sponsored. These are all editorial. Seattle Book Review was not sponsored either. None of the above source references were paid advertising. Please advise. Thank you. Hoffr (talk) 17:34, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
