Hello! Your edit on Help:IPA/French has been reverted, and I just want to comment on why, at least partly.

in Southern France, only /œ̃/ and /ɛ̃/ are distinguished

It’s not clear what “only [these] are distinguished” means. Does that mean distinguished from each other, or from the other nasals?

Hi ! Sorry for the lack of accuracy, English is not my native language, I thought my sentence was obvious when I wrote it.
My point is the sounds of the pair /œ̃/ and /ɛ̃/ are distinguished in southern french. While sounds of other pairs are assumed the same within each of them as in standard parisian French.
I hope being more obvious.
Bye!

Oh, OK, I see. Then you should frame it as mergers, something like this:

In Parisian French, /œ̃/ is usually merged with /ɛ̃/, /ɑ/ is often merged with /a/, and /ɛː/ is normally merged with /ɛ/. The latter two pairs are also merged in Meridional French. These pairs are always distinguished in Northern, Belgian, Swiss, and Quebec French.

I’m not too familiar with southern French phonology so I’m not sure how you would want to phrase it exactly. Another option is The latter two mergers also occur in Meridional French.
