Hey, I will probably figure out how to do edits and stuff on my own time but if you have the time, could you revert the image on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battles_of_Saratoga back to what it’s supposed to be? For reporting User:Pro-anti-air1, reverting their edits, requesting deletion of their userpage, and in a very short amount of time, even requesting a global lock!

There is a particular article. I want to correct. The Dinner (2017 film). I have the DVD and have recorded and listened to the ending multiple times. The Wikipedia article states at the end of the film the fate of Beau is unknown, but in the last scene his mother gets an off-screen call saying, “Beau, thank God, we were so worried.”
Can I correct this entry, and if so, how? —Rover44614 (talk) 21:34, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Rover44614: Film plots do not require a source, you can edit the plot as you see fit. Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 23:04, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

Hi Leonidlednev,
I’m still new to Wikipedia and would love some direction. Could you please guide me on where to start and what I should focus on first?
Thanks for your help!

Hi Leonid
My father is a former prominent television personality for ABC TV in Australia. He continues to do off camera producing for them but his heyday was from the 70s through to the 90s where he was involved in current affairs journalism and presenting. Is this something you can guide me to create? I feel he should have a lasting legacy.
Cheers

Hi. I created this profile to help with things local to where I live.
I noticed on the Arbroath Wikipedia page under notable people it doesn’t have actor/model Callum Fairweather. Considering he is probably the most famous person currently living in Arbroath, could someone make a quick page and add him to the notable people section on the Arbroath page? —Aberbrothock (talk) 10:49, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Aberbrothock: After a quick Google search, I could not find enough significant coverage to create the article. Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 16:02, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
I would like to edit Higherlife Foundation page but I am being told on Teahouse talk page that I must not edit it myself because of a COI – I have a declaration on my userpage and not sure why I am being told I cannot edit the page. Please help clarify? —Colette2204 (talk) 06:30, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Colette2204: Generally, if you have a COI, you should open edit requests with {{Edit COI}} on the article’s talk page instead of editing it directly. Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 07:31, 21 November 2025 (UTC)
The administrator elections process has officially started! Interested editors are encouraged to self-nominate or arrange to be nominated by reviewing the instructions at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/December 2025/Candidates.
Here is the schedule:
- November 25 – December 1 – Call for candidates
- December 4–8 – Discussion phase
- December 9–15 – SecurePoll voting phase
Please note the following:
- The requirements to run are identical to RFA—a prospective candidate must be extended confirmed.
- Prospective candidates are advised to become familiar with the community’s expectations of administrators, which are much higher than the minimum requirement of having extended confirmed status. This includes reviewing successful and unsuccessful RFAs, reading the essay Wikipedia:Advice for admin elections candidates, and possibly requesting an optional poll on their chances of passing.
- The process will have a seven day call for candidates phase, a two day pause, a five day discussion phase, and a seven day private vote using SecurePoll. Discussion and questions are only allowed on the candidate pages during the discussion phase.
- The outcome of this process is identical to making a request for adminship. There is no official difference between an administrator appointed through RFA versus administrator elections.
- Administrator elections are also a valid means of regaining adminship for de-sysopped editors.
Ask any questions about the process at the talk page. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.
If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.
